There are a total of 27 stitch patterns on the Juki HZL 35Z sewing machine including a 1-step bartack buttonhole. There are powerful overcasting stitches for heavy fabrics, some decorative satin stitches for additional detail, and all the popular utility stitches like straight, zigzag, Blind Hem, Shell Tuck, and Rampart.
Stitch length is adjustable to 4mm and stitch width is adjustable to 6.5mm on certain stitches.

Two leading points have been positioned just ahead of the needle in order to quickly and easily make contact with your fabric and pull it through under the needle without requiring any additional support. The feed dog system works well with all kinds of fabrics from sheers to really heavy denims, canvas and corduroy.
The machine comes with a number of other sewer friendly features, too, like an automatic needle threader, drop-in bobbin system, automatic bobbin winder, two needle positions, and a pressure regulator for dealing with various fabric thicknesses.
The top thread has an adjustable tension control and the bobbin cover is see through so you know when you're about to run out. The drop feed dog lever moves the feed dogs out of the way for mending or free-motion quilting and embroidery.
Maximum speed is 700 stitches per minute, a work light illuminates the work area, and a built in carry handle makes it easy to move the machine around the house.
