My sewing machine is feeding the fabric backwards? Help?
I bought a Singer 2932 several weeks ago and so far this has happened several times. The fabric is being threaded backwards, as if I am pressing the reverse stitch knob. At first I thought I threaded it wrong or there was some thread caught within, so I cleaned it out and it begun to work again. But now it is feeding backwards again, and it is still doing it as it is not threaded.
Can you help me please? Btw I attempted to alter the feed dogs and it did nothing to help, so that is not the problem.
I am not sure of your term threading backwards, but I had a machine sew backwards - and in my case it turned out to be a polar problem with the plug and I needed to unplug it from the wall and plug it in again. I only had it happen a couple of times. I have a Pfaff 2054.
